Precision parts manufacturers attach great importance to the processing of components and surface treatment, and thus are quite strict about the operation process. Surface treatment can extend the product's lifespan and improve its quality. Since the surface of the components needs to be polished, this is not only affected by the process and polishing equipment, but also by the material itself. Therefore, the technology to improve the surface performance of the parts needs to be upgraded, but the main methods are mainly hard film deposition, nitriding and carburizing technologies.
Precision parts manufacturers explain processing precautions
Before the machine starts working, check whether the moving parts have been lubricated with oil. Then start the machine and check if the clutch and brake are functioning properly. Let the machine idle for 1 to 3 minutes. Do not operate the machine if there is any malfunction.
When working, maintain the correct posture and have sufficient energy to deal with the work. If you feel unwell, leave your post immediately and report it to your supervisor. When operating, one must be fully concentrated. Chatting is strictly prohibited. Cooperate with each other. Operators must not operate when they are agitated or tired to avoid accidents and ensure operational safety. All employees should check whether their uniforms meet the job requirements before entering their posts. Slippers, high heels and clothing that may affect safety are not allowed. People with long hair must wear safety helmets.
When changing the die, first turn off the power supply. Only after the moving part of the press stops running can the installation and debugging of the die begin. After the installation and adjustment are completed, manually move the flywheel for a test punch twice to check if the upper and lower molds are symmetrical and reasonable, if the screws are tight, and if the blank holder is in a reasonable position.
Only after all other personnel have left the mechanical working area and removed the debris on the workbench can the power be turned on to start the machinery.
Surface treatment for precision parts manufacturers
Because nitriding technology can achieve a very high level of surface performance, and the nitriding process has a very high degree of coordination and consistency with the quenching process of steel in precision components, and the nitriding temperature is very low, there is no need for an intense cooling process after nitriding treatment, so the deformation of precision components will be very small. Therefore, nitriding technology is also one of the earliest techniques adopted in the processing of precision parts to enhance surface performance, and it is currently the most widely used.
