Precision metal parts refer to the collective term for various specifications and shapes of metal blocks, metal rods, metal tubes, etc. made of metal materials. The materials of metal parts: steel and non-ferrous metals (or non-ferrous metals). Steel: An alloy of iron with a carbon content of 2% to 4.3% is cast iron, and an alloy of iron with a carbon content generally between 0.03% and 2% is steel. In Fe-C alloys, various appropriate amounts of alloying elements are purposefully added to enhance the strength, hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel and other properties.
Commonly used alloying elements include Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Mo, W, V, Ti, Nb, B, etc., which form various types of alloy cast iron or alloy steel.
Processing and treatment
Processing technology
1) Anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment: Blackening or bluing treatment, also known as phosphating treatment, endows metal parts with corrosion resistance and anti-rust properties.
2) Hardening treatment: Methods to increase the hardness of metal parts: 1. To enhance the surface hardness of metal parts, surface carburizing is adopted. After carburizing, the surface color will also tend to be darker. 2. Quenching treatment can increase hardness; 3. Vacuum heat treatment enhances the overall hardness.
Processing technology
Mechanical processing, stamping, precision casting, powder metallurgy, metal injection molding, laser processing, electrical discharge machining, ultrasonic processing, electrolytic processing, particle beam processing and ultra-high-speed processing, etc. Similar to turning, milling, forging, casting, grinding, CNC machining and CNC center machining all fall under the category of conventional machining.

Casting
The production method of pouring liquid metal into the cavity of a mold that matches the shape and size of the part, allowing it to cool and solidify to obtain a blank or part, is usually called liquid metal forming or casting.

Process flow: Liquid metal → Filling → solidification and shrinkage → casting
